Jimmy Thunder

Ti'a James Senio Peau (3 February 1966 – 13 February 2020) known professionally as Jimmy Thunder, was a New Zealand professional boxer. He represented New Zealand, but also held the Australian heavyweight title twice, as well as the IBO and WBF heavyweight titles. He holds the world record for the fastest knockout (1½ seconds) in the history of boxing.[1]

Peau died in his sleep in Auckland on 13 February 2020, following brain surgery, aged 54.[2] [3]
