John H. McArthur

John H. McArthur (March 31, 1934[1] – August 20, 2019) was a Canadian-American educator and business theorist. He was the Professor of Business Administration and Dean Emeritus of the Harvard Business School from 1980 to 1995.[2] He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. In 2015, McArthur received the Order of Canada.[3]

McArthur was the founding co-chair of Partners HealthCare and Chair of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada.

McArthur died on August 20, 2019 at his home in Weston, Massachusetts at the age of 85.[4]
