John Ward (New Zealand cricketer)

John Thomas Ward (11 March 1937 – 12 January 2021) was a New Zealand cricketer. He played as a wicket-keeper in eight Test matches between 1964 and 1968. He was born in Timaru, New Zealand. He played for Canterbury from 1959 until 1971. He also played for the national team from 1964 to 1968.

Ward died in Timaru on 12 January 2021 after a short illness, aged 83.[1]
