Joseph Willaert

Joseph Willaert (1936 – 2 April 2014) was a Belgian painter. He was known for his abstract paintings. He mostly hung his paintings in train stations or public areas. Some of his art has been internationally displayed in many museums.

Willaert was born in Diksmuide. He died on 2 April 2014 in Oostende, Belgium from complications of a stroke, aged 78.[1]
