Juan Martín Díez

Juan Martín Díez (1775, Valladolid - 1825) was a Spanish brigadier-general of cavalry. The son of a peasant, Díez was head of guerilla bands, where he had done good service to his country during the Peninsular war and been promoted; offending the ruling powers, he was charged with conspiracy, tried, and killed.
