Kelly Hyman (born July 20, 1969) is an Australian-American lawyer and president of the Federal Bar Association of Palm Beach County, Florida[1]. She is a former actress and model who appeared in television shows, particularly in the 1980s and 1990s[2]. Her notable appearances include the roles of Loretta on The Young and the Restless and Tricia in Getting There. She starred in the film Doin' Time on Planet Earth with Adam West from Batman[3].

Kelly Hyman, born in Miami Beach, Florida, is a native Floridian. She is an American of Australian descent who was raised by a single mother in New York City and Southern California.[4]

She has appeared in numerous print ads and commercials. Kelly Hyman was nominated for the Youth in Film award along with her childhood best friend, Shalane McCall, who portrayed Charlie Wade on Dallas (1978 TV series).[5] She is best known for playing the role of Loretta on The Young and the Restless. She also portrayed Norman Fell's daughter on Three's Company in Gettin' There. Kelly Hyman also acted off-Broadway in New York City. She played Donna in the film Doin' Time on Planet Earth with Adam West from Batman. Kelly Hyman is also a voice actress, and her voice has been heard in numerous commercials, including the Kit Kat "Give me a break" ad.[6]

Kelly Hyman graduated in Communication from UCLA. While studying, she worked as an intern at the White House Presidential Investigations Office. In 2003, she graduated with honors from the University of Florida Law School and earned her Juris Doctor degree. Kelly Hyman was the president of the Federal Bar Association, Palm Beach section. She also served on the Board of Dress for Success, Palm Beach.[7]

Kelly Hyman, a lifelong Democrat, has volunteered for both the election and re-election of President Obama. She has also volunteered for the Democratic Party as a poll watcher to protect voters' rights during presidential elections. She is a legal analyst on television and has appeared numerous times on Law & Crime,[8] Fox News, CourtTV, OANN, and Fox and Friends First.[9]

She has also appeared on BBC,[10] ABC,[11] NBC LX,[12] Fox News,[13] I24news, and NewsmaxTV. She has also appeared on America This Week with Eric Bolling on ABC and on Watters' World on Fox. She has also appeared on Ethan Bearman's show, "Issues and Ideas" with Chris DeBellow, "The Whistleblower" with Mychal Wilson, and the radio show "Jiggy Jaguar," based in Kansas.[14] Kelly Hyman, a Democratic political commentator, lawyer, and advocate, focuses on class actions and mass tort litigation. Kelly Hyman is married to Federal Judge Paul G. Hyman Jr.[15]

Kelly is also a media commentator and attorney.[16] Kelly has been called a "modern-day Erin Brockovich" by Forbes. She has received an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.[17] She is a member of the AAJ and participates in the Women's Caucus Lobby Day in D.C. She is also a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the D.C. Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association - Colorado Chapter, and the American Association for Justice (AAJ).[18] Ms. Hyman also graduated from the AAJ Leadership Academy.[19]

From 2017 to 2018, Kelly Hyman served as president of the Federal Bar Association, Palm Beach Chapter. Ms. Hyman is a former chair of the Membership Committee of the Federal Bar Association, Colorado Chapter.[20] She served as a federal judicial law clerk for Judge Sandoval, who is the former Governor of Nevada.[21] In 2019, she launched her own law firm called The Hyman Law Firm, P.A.[22]
