Khorramabad is a city in Iran. It is the capital of Lorestan Province. In 2016, about 373,000 people lived in the city. The city's industry is mainly focused on processing agricultural products.
The population of Khorramabad consists of Lurs and Laks, who speak Luri and Laki, respectively. Laki is more closely related to Kurdish than to Luri and is generally considered a Kurdish dialect.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10]
