Kim is a small town. It is in Las Animas County, Colorado, United States. At the 2020 U.S. census, 63 people lived in Kim.[4]
Rodeo star Lane Frost was born in La Junta in 1963. However, he spent some of his early days with his mother and grandparents in Kim, while his father was on tour.

Demographics
[change | change source]As of the census of 2020, there were 63 people living in Kim. These people made up 34 households. The population density was 170 people per square mile (64/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 77.8% White, 7.9% Native American, 7.9% from other races, and 6.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 28.6% of the population.
There were 34 households. 17.6% of these had children under the age of 18 living with them. 41.2% had a married couple living together. 20.6% had a woman living there with no partner, and 35.3% had a man living there with no partner. 32.4% of all households were made up of just one person and 20.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.85 people.
In the town, 9.5% of the people were under the age of 18. 6.3% were from 18 to 24. 19.0% were from 25 to 44. 22.2% were 45 to 64, and 42.9% were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 56.5 years. There were 33 females and 30 males.[4]
