Lúcia Braga

Ana Lúcia Navarro Braga (December 13, 1934 – May 8, 2020), better known as simply Lúcia Braga, was a Brazilian politician, social worker and lawyer. She was born in João Pessoa, Paraíba.[1] Braga was a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 1987 to 1995 and again from 2003 to 2007.

Braga died at a hospital in João Pessoa on May 8, 2020 of COVID-19 while being hospitalized for a urinary tract infection, aged 85.[2] Her husband, Wilson Braga, also died from COVID-19 a week after her death.
