Lajos Szűcs (footballer, born 1943)

Lajos Szűcs (10 December 1943 – 12 July 2020) was a Hungarian football striker. He played for Dorog, Ferencváros, Budapest Honvéd FC and Vasas Izzó. He won a gold medal in football at the 1968 Summer Olympics and a silver medal in football at the 1972 Summer Olympics.[1] From 1967 to 1973, he played for the national team. He was born in Apatin, then Kingdom of Hungary.

Szűcs died on 12 July 2020 in Budapest, aged 76.[2]
