Leonid Topchiev

Leonid Topchiev (9 January 1930 - 24 June 2021) was a Soviet stage and film actor. In 1958 he received a nomination for the Cannes Film Festival's Palme d'Or. This was for his portrayal of Prince Ivan of Moscow the third in the movie Walking for Three Seas. He was also a theater director, working as the director of the Vologda Drama Theatre and the Yaroslavl State Theatre of Drama.[1]

He received the Medal of the Order of Merit to the Fatherland II Stepani in 2004.[2] [3] He was 91 when he died.
