Leroy Suddath

Leroy Newton Suddath (February 21, 1931 – February 27, 2020) was a major general in the United States Army. He was commissioned in 1956 after graduation from the United States Military Academy.[1] Suddath was commander of the 1st Special Operations Command before his retirement in 1988.[2][3] He was born in Savannah, Georgia.

Suddathon died at the age of 89 on February 27, 2020 in Savannah.[4]
