Live and Let Die is a 1973 British American spy movie directed by Guy Hamilton and is the 8th movie in the James Bond franchise. It is the first to star Roger Moore as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond and was distributed by United Artists. The movie is based on Ian Fleming's 1954 novel of the same name and was nominated for an Academy Award in 1974. Paul McCartney sings the title song of the movie.
