Logo of Wikipedia
The logo of Wikipedia represents Wikipedia in an image which is a free, open-source online encyclopedia, that can be read in many languages.
The logo, introduced in 2010, is cut globe made from Jigsaw puzzle pieces with some missing at the top, and has glyphs from many different writing systems. The reason for missing pieces is because there is a never ending amount of information, showing that Wikipedia is never "done".
As shown on the top and left corner web pages of the English-language version of Wikipedia, it says "Wikipedia" under it, and there's a text that says "The Free Encyclopedia", in a serif and free open-source font, Linux Libertine.[2]
In addition to the famous visual globe logo, Wikimedia has a sound logo for its brands, including Wikipedia.[1]
Former logos
