M. R. Schunker

Vice Admiral Melville Raymond Schunker (18 September 1924 – 4 January 2021) was an Indian Navy admiral. He was the third Director General of the Indian Coast Guard from 1982 to 1984. He also was the 6th Vice Chief of the Naval Staff (VCNS) from 1980 to 1982.

Schunker died on 4 January 2021 at a Goa hospital at the age of 96.[1]
