M. T. Vasudevan Nair

Madath Thekkepaattu Vasudevan Nair (15 July 1933 – 25 December 2024), popularly known as M. T., was an Indian novelist, screenwriter and movie director. Nair was born in Kudallur, British India. He was known for his roles in Naalukettu, Randamoozham, Manju, Kaalam, Asuravithu and Iruttinte Athmavu. In 2005, he was honored with the Padma Bhushan.

Nair died on 25 December 2024 at a hospital in Kozhikode, India from cardiopulmonary arrest caused by heart failure at the age of 91.[1][2]
