Madavoor Vasudevan Nair

Madavoor Vasudevan Nair (7 April 1929[1][2] – 6 February 2018) was a veteran Indian Kathakali dancer. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India. He also taught the Kaplingadan style of Kathakali performance and was one of the last practitioners of the south Kerala style (Kaplingadan) school of the classical dance-drama. He died on 6 February 2018, aged 88.[3]

Nair died of multiple organ failure on 6 February 2018 in New Delhi, India at the age of 88.
