Maia Perez

Maia Perez (born October 19, 1999) is an American professional soccer player.[1] [2] She is a goalkeeper.[2] She was drafted by Angel City FC in the United States' National Women's Soccer League.[2] They sent her to play in France for a few years.[3] She is the starting goalkeeper for Grand Paris Seine Ouest 92 Issy (GPSO 92 Issy) at the age of 23. [3]

Early life

Perez grew up in East Kentwood, Michigan.[4] She started to play soccer in the 2nd grade.[4] She was the goalkeeper when playing with the boys in her elementary school. [4]

Perez began playing division 1 soccer for the Hartford Hawks in her freshman year. [5] She was in college for 5 years. [5] Perez began playing with Angel City FC in Los Angeles, CA, USA in March of 2022. [6] She currently plays with Grand Paris Seine Ouest 92 Issy (GPSO 92 Issy). [3] In 2023 she started playing for OL Reign of Seattle.[7]
