Mappano is a comune in the Metropolitan City of Turin in the Piedmont region in Italy.
Geography
[change | change source]Mappano is in the northwestern area of the metropolitan area of Turin, about km in south of Turin-Caselle Airport. It is next to these municipalities: Borgaro Torinese, Caselle Torinese, Leinì, Settimo Torinese and Turin.
History
[change | change source]It was created on 30 January 2013, from territories which previously had been frazioni of the comuni of Borgaro Torinese, Caselle Torinese, Leinì and Settimo Torinese.
