Marilyn Diptych

The Marilyn Diptych (1962) is a silkscreen painting by American pop artist Andy Warhol. It shows Marilyn Monroe. The piece is one of the artist's most well known works. It is in the collection of the Tate.[1]

The painting has one picture of Monroe but painted fifty times. Twenty-five of the Monroe paintings are colored in purple, yellow and green. The other half is the same picture but in black and white.
