Masahiro Sakurai (桜井政博 Sakurai Masahiro) is a video game developer who used to work for HAL Laboratory before leaving the company. In 2009, Sakurai started a company called Project Sora. The company published and released Kid Icarus: Uprising for the Nintendo 3DS console in March 2012. The company closed on June 30, 2012. He's most famous for making Kirby and Super Smash Bros. He also was the voice actor of King Dedede, a character from the Kirby series, in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
