{{editprotected}} Could we have it changed to "earlier change" instead? And do the same for "newer edit"? :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 20:22, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's not really the same to be exact. A diff is the difference between two or more version. A change is the edit made. I don't think it is the best idea. -Barras talk 20:56, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OK, how about changing the "newer edit" message to "newer diff", for consistency? :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 21:09, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I just noticed that MediaWiki:Nextdiff was deleted. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 22:58, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, these should be consistent. πr2 (talk • changes) 23:28, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't sound bad... -Barras talk 07:52, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
So, are we going to change it? :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 03:23, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
MediaWiki:Nextdiff has been fixed for consistency, per rationale here. If further discussion comes to the consensus that "change" is better than "diff", then we can change them both, but they should be consistent for now. sonia♫♪ 01:25, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe we should discuss this on Simple talk to see consensus on this. Having just Barras object here seems awkward... :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 03:33, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
