Mike Trout

Michael Nelson Trout (born August 7, 1991) is an American baseball player. He plays the center field position for the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball. He has played for the Angels since he joined the major leagues in 2011. He was the Rookie of the Year in 2012, and the Most Valuable Player in the American League in 2014, 2016 and 2019. Trout has been an All-Star 11 times. The contract he signed with the Los Angeles Angels in 2019 was the largest in MLB history at the time. It is for $426.5 million over 12 years.^[1] Many baseball writers and fans consider Trout one of the best players in baseball history.^[2]
