Miriam Muñoz

Miriam Aracely Muñoz Cadena (born 24 February 1967) is a Mexican pelotari. She won the gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics, where Basque pelota was a demonstration sport, in the women's frontenis doubles event together with Rosa María Flores. [1][2]

She became world champion at the 1990 Basque Pelota World Championships, 1994 Basque Pelota World Championships and 1998 Basque Pelota World Championships; also together with Rosa María Flores. At the Basque pelota competitions at the 1995 Pan American Games she won a gold medal in the Frontenis event and won also a silver medal.[3]
