Mitchell Hooks

Mitchell Hooks (1923 – March 17, 2013) was an American artist and illustrator renowned for his artwork for paperback books and magazines. He was known for illustrating movie posters for Dr. No, The Sand Pebbles, and for El Dorado.

Hooks was born in 1923 in Detroit, Michigan.[1] He died on March 17, 2013 his home Los Angeles, California from natural causes, aged 89.[2]
