Míriam Colón

Míriam Colón (born Míriam Colón Valle; August 20, 1936 – March 3, 2017) was a Puerto Rican actress. She was the founder and director of the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater in New York City. She was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico.

Colón was known for her roles as Georgina Montana in Scarface (1983), Maria in Gloria (1999), and as Mercedes in Goal! (2005).

Colón died on March 3, 2017 from complications of a lung infection in New York City, aged 80.[1]
