Edward "Ned" Young

Edward "Ned" Young (c. 1762 – 25 December 1800), was the only officer to join in the mutiny on April 28, 1789. He later settled on Pitcairn Island. Ned Young was the son of Admiral Sir George Young and Polly. He married Mauatua in about 1794, in Pitcairn Island. Many of Young's and the mutineers' descendants continue to live on Pitcairn Island and Norfolk Island. He was also the second ruler of of the Pitcairn Islands.
