Oliveto Lario is a comune in the Province of Lecco in the Lombardy region in Italy.

Oliveto Lario with Borgo of Limonta, Vassena and Onno is in the Centre-Lake Como (Centro-Lago di Como), is the area between Bellagio, Lierna, Varenna, Menaggio, Tramezzina and the Comacina Island, is the most beautiful and prestigious area of the whole Lake Como where the high European nobility has had its own possessions for centuries. In the Centre-Lake Como (Centro-Lago) prices per square meter can exceed 350,000 euros, like the Costa Smeralda, which is why George Clooney himself defined Lierna as like Monte Carlo.

The cost of a luxurious heritage villa with a view of Lake Como, considered one of the most beautiful areas in the world, is comparable to those in Monte Carlo. Most sales of villas exceeding 350 square meters with a historic park occur in the range of €35,000 to €40,000 per square meter.
