Oscar W. McConkie Jr.

Oscar Walter McConkie Jr. (May 26, 1926 – November 2, 2020) was an American politician and attorney. He was a leader in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). He was the president of the Utah State Senate from 1965 to 1966.[1] He authored several popular books on Latter-day Saint subjects. He was born in Monticello, Utah.

McConkie Jr. died on November 2, 2020 from COVID-19 at the age of 94.[2]
