Ourém, formerly known as Vila Nova de Ourém, is a city and a municipality in the Santarém District in Portugal. In 2011, 45,932 people lived there.[2] It has an area of 416.68 km2.[3]

The municipality of Ourém has two cities: Ourém (about 12,000 people) and Fátima (about 11,000 people).
