P. Parameswaran

P. Parameswaran (1927 – 9 February 2020), often referred to as Parameswarji, was a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pracharak political activist. He was born in Kerala, India. He was Vice‑President of the Jan Sangh.[1] In 2004, he was honored with the Padma Shri.

He was organizing secretary of Bharatiya Jana Sangh in 1957. In 1968, he became an All‑India General Secretary and later Vice‑President of the Jan Sangh. He was jailed during the Indian Emergency (1975-1977).

Parameswaran died on 9 February 2020 at the age of 91.[2]
