Paul Jennings Hill (February 6, 1954 – September 3, 2003) was an American minister and anti-abortion extremist[1][2] who murdered physician John Britton (1925–1994) and his bodyguard James Barrett (1919–1994) on July 29, 1994 in Pensacola, Florida.

Nine years after the murder, Paul was executed by lethal injection on September 3, 2003. He was the first person in the United States to be executed for murdering an abortion doctor.
