Providenciales

Providenciales is the main tourist island in the Turks and Caicos Islands. It is also where most of the people in the country live, with a population of about 32,000.[1] The island has an area of 98 km2 (38 sq mi).

Grace Bay is where most of the resorts are. The first resort was Club Med. It opened in 1984.[2] Blue Hills, Five Cays, and The Bight were the original villages.
