Régine Deforges (15 August 1935 – 3 April 2014) was a French writer, editor, director and playwright. Her best known works for Le Cahier volé (1978), La Bicyclette bleue (1981), 101, avenue Henri-Martin (1983), Le Diable en rit encore (1985) and Noir tango (1991). She was born in Montmorillon, Vienne.

Deforges died from a heart attack on 3 April 2014 in Paris. She was 78 years old.[1]
