The R62 is a Kawasaki train car that was completed in 1985. Its in service on the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0 lines. The numbers of this model are 1301-1625.It is expected to be replaced by R262s in 2023-2026. The R62 runs on the 1, 3, 6 and Shuttle lines (Grand Central to be exact). They are sometimes confused with the R62A.
