Rebecca Shaw is the author of 28 novels. Her books about rural life, published by Orion Publishing Group, have sold over one million copies.[1][2]

Shaw was born Shirley Crenshaw. She began writing in her 60’s, after a career in teaching.[1][2] She lived with her husband, father of her four children, in a Dorset village where she found inspiration for her much-loved classic stories about rural life. She died of a stroke in 2015.[1]
