Divine Ikubor (born May 1, 2000), better known as Rema, is a Nigerian singer and rapper.

Rema was born in Benin City, Nigeria in 2000.[1][2]

He started making music at a young age.[clarification needed] He began releasing music online when he was just 18 years old. His first song, "Iron Man", was released in 2020. Rema got global recognition in 2022 when a remix of his song Calm Down was on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned a billion streams on Spotify.[3]
