Revenge (TV series)

Revenge is an American television soap opera. It was first shown on 21 September 2011, on ABC.^[1]

It stars Emily VanCamp as the main protagonist and Madeleine Stowe as the main antagonist.

The series is about a woman who comes back to her childhood home to get revenge on her father's friends who betrayed him by accusing him of a terrorist plot that he did not commit.

The plot is inspired by Alexandre Dumas' 1844 novel The Count of Monte Cristo.
