Richard Scarry

Richard McClure Scarry (June 5, 1919 – April 30, 1994) was an American author and illustrator. He published over 300 books with over 100 million sales worldwide.[1] His work became popular in the 1960s, and led to a cartoon show on Showtime (TV channel) and Nickelodeon.
