Roger Charles Allers (October 10, 1949 – March 1, 2019) was an American animator, movie director, playwright, screenwriter and storyboard artist. He was known for directing The Lion King, Open Season and The Prophet.
Allers died on March 01, 2019 in Santa Monica, California at the age of 69.[1]
