Ruben Östlund (born 13 April 1974) is a Swedish filmmaker. He is known for his movies Force Majeure (2014), The Square (2017) and Triangle of Sadness (2022).[1] For his 2022 movie Triangle of Sadness, he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay.
