Ryan O'Neal

Charles Patrick Ryan O'Neal, Jr. (April 20, 1941 – December 8, 2023) was an American movie, television, stage, and voice actor. He is known for his roles Paper Moon, Barry Lyndon, A Bridge Too Far, and in A Love Story.

O'Neal was born on April 20, 1941 in Los Angeles, California.[1] He studied at University High School.

O'Neal was married to Joanna Cook Moore from 1963 until they divorced in 1966. Then he was married to Leigh Taylor-Young from 1967 until they divorced in 1973. He never married Farrah Fawcett. They lived together from 1979 until they split in 1997. They rekindled their relationship in 2001. Until her death from rare form of anal cancer in 2009. They had a son together Redman O’Neal. He had four children, including Tatum O'Neal.[2] He lived in Malibu, California.

O'Neal died on December 8, 2023 at a hospital in Santa Monica, California from congestive heart failure caused by cardiomyopathy at the age of 82.[3]
