Sabeen Mahmud

Sabeen Mahmud (Urdu: سبین محمود) was a Pakistani human rights activist and social NGO worker. She was the founder and director of the Karachi-based cafe The Second Floor (T2F) and president of the Karachi branch of TiE.[1]

On 24 April 2015, she was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Karachi while on her way home after attending a seminar.
