Career[change | change source]

All Elite Wrestling[change | change source]

At New Year's Smash, Joe was supposed to team with MJF to defend the ROH World Tag Team Championships in place of an injured Adam Cole. Before the match, it would appear that Joe was attacked by The Devil's Masked Men backstage. MJF would fight The Devil's Masked Men in a 2-on-1 Handicap match but would lose the match and the titles. It was then revealed that Joe faked the attack and then attacked MJF after the match.[4] At Worlds End, Samoa Joe would defeat MJF to become the new AEW World Champion.[5]
