Sauvira Kingdom

Sauvīra was an ancient kingdom and region of the ancient Sindh, present day northern Sindh and southern Punjab. Its capital city was Roruka, identified with present-day Aror/Rohri in Sindh.[1] Today the Saraiki speaking area of Punjab and Sindh is the part of this kingdom, this kingdom is mentioned it the Hindus' epic book "Mahabharata". Jayadratha was the king of the Sindhu, Sauvira and Sivi.
