A Schumann resonance is a resonant frequency of a set of several Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) oscillations of the Earth's electromagnetic field between the ground and reflective regions of the ionosphere, triggered by lightning. It is also proposed to be foundational to human consciousness, possibly related to the set of human brain waves.[1]
