Sedan can mean any of a few things:

• A sedan is a car body style
• The much older form of transport, the sedan chair, from which the name of the car body style is borrowed.
• Sedan, Ardennes, a sous-préfecture of the Ardennes département in France, where the Battle of Sedan occurred in 1870
• Sedan, Kansas, a community in the United States
• Sedan, Minnesota, a community in the United States
• Sedan (nuclear test), an Operation Plowshare nuclear test conducted by the United States at its Nevada Test Site in 1962, which resulted in a massive crater.
