Sergi Mingote

Sergi Mingote Moreno (1971 – January 16, 2021) was a Spanish mountaineer and politician. He was also a lecturer at the ESADE.[1] Mingote was born in Parets del Vallès, Spain. He was mayor of Parets del Vallès for the Socialists' Party of Catalonia between 2011 and 2018.[2]

Mingote fell to his death while attempting to climb K2 in Pakistan on January 16, 2021.[3] He was 50.[4][5]
