Mahmud Shabestari (1288-1340; Persian: محمود شبستری) is a Persian Sufi poet. He was born in the city of Tabriz. His most famous poem is called Gulshan-i Rāz (Persian: گلشن راز meaning "A Secret Rose Garden"). Gulshan-i Rāz is an important Sufi text.
