Shehu Idris

Shehu Idris (20 February 1936 – 20 September 2020) was a Nigerian royal. He was the 18th Fulani Emir of Zazzau and the Chairman of Zazzau Emirate Council and Kaduna State Emirate Council from 1975 until his death. He became emir 8 February 1975 following the death of Alhaji Muhammadu Aminu, the 17th Emir of Zazzau.[1][2] He was born in Zaria, Nigeria.

On 10 January 2015 he celebrated his 40 years coronation anniversary,[3] and 8 February 2020, he celebrated his 45 years coronation anniversary.[4]

Idris died 20 September 2020 at the age of 84 at a military hospital in Zaria.[5][6][7][8][9]
